Do the right thing

IV Oguntimehin said, "education is a companion which no future can depress, no crime can destroy, no enemy can alienate and no nepotism can enslave".

Education is in fact the Act of transmitting or acquiring general knowledge, the development of its decision-making authority and preparing the intellectual spirit for life to mature. One thing must be clear in the minds of all that when we talk about education, we talk about together. This is because education has no restrictions; It is an idea of the narrowness of the horizons of the people.

Thus, the first step to acquire knowledge is as a fact the good options in life and that he chose the right road. It is not limited to only the school textbooks. This is a process which has the responsibility to produce good and responsible citizens out of it.

All people contribute to the development and growth of a community and all human beings human of the community play a part in one way or another. Thus, it is preferable that one is the right option and do what is best for them. It is just that we must get the better of what we want and learn all about it, because education is remarkable opportunities and better life. There are some narrow on different fields there and people who are interested in these fields is concerned the people and are reluctant to play their role in improving the environment. This is the place where we are talking about basic education that begins certainly in the mother's lap.

All learning it is the most important because it is education that reflects the personality of the person and which defines the family to which it belongs. Thus, leading learning to make the most important and the most important of his life, decisions have direct impact on his life, the. Other than that parents also play an important role in making good or bad people. This is because when a child is born the only thing he knows is either breathing or crying. This is the stage where the parents play their role by teaching him how to live his life. A child is always following her mother and sees his father his hero. If the parents help their children to lead their life in an appropriate manner, only then, we can obtain the citizens more responsible for the environment of the process we called education.

In short no human could survive without education and no man could not live without awareness. Therefore, we the value of our lives and live every moment of it, only then we can obtain a good community and the peaceful environment.

Let Your Creativity Loose!

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Art is whatever you want it to be really. At school it is the most free and expressive subject which you can take part in and as long as you have some creativity and ideas of how to portray them onto paper, or by sculpting, then you should succeed in it!

Being able to draw well is a skill that I believe you are either born with or without, no matter how hard you try it is a hard element to master if you start out finding it difficult. I am not the most amazing drawer in the world but I can do it and my forte lies in drawing animals which luckily I was able to draw a lot of at school. Learning how to express yourself can be difficult but many people find a way through the arts to be able to do this whether it is through art, music or drama.

One thing which I found difficult was sculpting. During years 7 to 9 you will learn a variety of ways to produce art through different medium and techniques and one you will be taught is how to make sculptures. One thing you will get to make is a mummy which means you will be able to try and master the skill of getting the correct shape of the human body and will progress up to decorating it to have human features. For the time being however enjoy having fun wrapping it in toilet roll! Another technique will involve your natural drawing ability by being given the task of drawing your friends' portrait, sound easy? It can be quite difficult and if you are not careful might end up looking like a cartoon character but the more you get used to drawing outlines and building up the detail you will see such an improvement as you progress through the years.

As well as developing your own style of creating art you will have case studies to look at a number of different artists and then get to interpret their designs in your own way. Some artists make very intricate water paintings and some like to create a colourful explosion on paper using different utensils, but whatever you class as art you will be sure to find a piece that inspires you.

If math or English just are not your thing and you cannot quite grasp the concept of having to have a correct answer, then along with having a creative flare you will be sure to enjoy key stage 3 art and there is nothing better than being proud of a piece of artwork and seeing it up on a display panel in the classroom!

Zoe Ball is an enthusiastic writer in the subject matter of school subjects and resources. The websites recommended by Zoe Ball have been thoroughly researched and come highly acclaimed from direct experience. Take a look at a range of display panels today.

Montessori: A theory of education

Goals and habits of one generation to the next is what education is built, but there is no one way to do so - there are hundreds of theories. One of them was developed in the late 19th century by a certain Montessori Mara.

The style, which is now in almost 20,000 schools around the world and is for children up to 18 years has proved to be very reliable. With children who work better when they are those that have defined boundaries, Montessori works well to show the freedom, independence and psychological development through many practices.

Here, we will take a blow of eye to the theory that comes with the Montessori education:

-Construction self, of spontaneous activity and freedom - an approach to education that is based on the model of human development, it has two main elements. Through the interaction of the environment, those children manage to be involved in psychological self-build. In addition, consider how the psychological development can change and, especially for the less than six, the possibility of choice within the limits offers major advances.

-Human - universal and innate characteristics while trends were the first time the study by Montessori, son who really invented the phrase. By providing such things as order, repetition, self-perfection, exploration and self-preservation you can drive the early development.

-Prepared environment - as previously mentioned, this theory is pretty much worked on the principle to have limits, but offering choices in their. Through the use of the construction, of beauty and order, a child is able to develop independence through psychological guidance.

-Development - according to Montessori, we have four distinct planes of human development - from birth to six years, six to 12, 12-18 and 18-24. The absorbent mind, sensitive periods and standardization that we see in the first to embrace science and culture in the final is a great foundation for life.

-Peace and education - a famous quote from Montessori summarize his determination to find the theory of education - "conflict prevention is the work of policy;" "peace is the work of education". It has established a practice of his theories that it believed that all had a role to play in the world, and this has been demonstrated through its six Nobel Peace Prize nominations.

With this, we see how this theory of education has been put in place. Since his first start, Montessori was received very well and continues to go strong. You always make sure that the program in question is theories and ideals that she discovered all these years.

I Want to Learn About a Subject, But I Need a Reputable Source

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Have you ever been very interested in a subject that you wanted to learn about, but after searching the internet and coming up with a billion results, you still didn't get the answer you were looking for?

Do you realize that most of the results of a search that are close to the top of the search page are either advertisements or they're the ones that the site owners paid a higher price for the keywords in a PPC or Pay Per Click program. Information Brokers or Information Professionals are highly disappointed if their search produces more than 10 hits or results. Learning how to search and having the right tools is paramount in obtaining the correct results and information.

Are you using this information to make investment or business decisions? Should you be? Do you want to leave that business decision to a kid that just happened to be interested in the same subject that you're searching for? They may be right, they may be wrong, or they may be partially correct or just enough to get you in trouble. How will you know? I'd rather get my information directly from the person whom discovered it or whom has studied if for longer than an hour. Have you ever wondered why many businesses fail? Obtaining fly-by-night information off the internet to make important business decisions is one way to fail fast.

The Internet being released to the public back in 1994 almost shut my business down completely. From 1982 to 1994 I was performing business-to-business information research in more of a generalized content. In 1994 and 1995, I had to steer in a different direction completely. I began performing pre-employment background security checks and skip tracing. Both of which were very lucrative and badly needed in the area I was located in at the time. One of the nice things about the Information Professional industry, you have many areas to choice from. You aren't stuck where you are at any one time, there are always options.

The attitude of business owners in 1994-1996 was they could get all the information they need for free on the Information Highway. And do it all themselves on their own computer. I just said, "Good Luck", and walked away. Most of those old clients from the 90's have since gone out of business. I'm not sure if it was an information factor or not. I do know that quite a few clients realized that it's better to have no information at all versus having way too much on a subject. And you really don't know if the information was correct and accurate to begin with.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Internet, it has its' uses. But it's sometimes like getting advice from a stranger that might not even be certified to give that type of advice. It could be the best advice you'll ever receive, or it could be coming from a person that just didn't have anything else to do that night. Take it with a grain of salt.

Some information on the Internet is perfect and correct. When I'm brokering for peoples' opinion on a subject or to perform a survey, the Internet is where you go. There are trillions of good, useable tidbits of information on the Internet. It all depends on what you're looking for, you just need to verify the legitimacy of the site and data you're dealing with at the time.

The Shame Game and the Education Debate - Hey Wait a Minute!

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

There seems to be a real debate brewing over the concept of taking the test scores of all the students, and comparing them with each individual teacher, and then putting those results online, or out in the public, or even available to the parents of the students. In other words, some sort of metric to show the performance of the teachers. Okay so, I'd like to talk to you about this from the perspective of a businessperson, taxpayer, and someone who is not politically correct.

You see, everyone is judged in our society by their performance, their ability, and we have a culture in our society which says the best person, regardless of their age, nationality, blood type, or whatever should get the job. Isn't that right? I mean that's the most unbiased way to do it right? And yet when it comes to teachers, they don't want to play that game. Apparently they've fallen so in love with their political correctness that they fail to understand the real world.

Now the teachers unions are up in arms that the results of their teaching ability might become public, and tarnish their reputation, and the unions will sue the school districts, and work to get injunctions in court to prevent school districts, state governments, and the Federal NCLB (No Child Left behind Act) from disclosing this information. Excuse me for a second, but the taxpayers were paying the bill have a right to know.

Also, if you have a professional license of any type, the government always finds it in their purview to put your personal information, along with your records online. If you are a doctor, a lawyer, financial planner, real estate agent, or just about anyone else that has a professional license, all that information is public and available. Why should teachers be any different - because they have a union? That doesn't make any sense to me. So all those other professionals that don't have their own union, and don't have a collective group to stand up for themselves get the shaft, and teachers of poor quality go Scott free? Where is the fairness?

But still, since this is a debate, let's go ahead and listen to what the other side has to say; there was a harsh editorial in the Wall Street Journal on March 7, 2012 by Wendy Kopp titled; "The Trouble with Humiliating Teachers," which stated; "Making rankings public undermines the trust educators need to build collaborative teams."

I am always bothered when someone mentions something like groupthink, collaborative teams, committees, or some other catchphrase of that type. And as far as humiliation goes, then we should address that issue too. Teachers humiliate kids in the classrooms all the time in order to enforce their false-authority. When the teacher humiliates a child in front of their peers, they do so to gain control, and use the group to control the behavior of the individual student so they can teach. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but they mostly all do that.

And another thing about humiliation, teachers are also causing the humiliation of parents with the inability of their kids to read, write, and do simple math. In fact, if the teachers can't teach any better than they are now, they are humiliating all Americans, and making us look bad around the world. We don't need ignorant citizens, because they'll just keep voting for throwing more good money after bad to school districts which are not performing. If you'd like to debate me, bring it on. Please consider all this and think on it.

As such, there are others whose use helps eliminate or reduce mobility loss before it occurs.

Bearing in mind that the physical therapy field is one of the most rewarding fields, you stand to gain a lot by taking physical treatment programs. For aspiring physical therapists, here is a guideline of what will be expected for you to become successful in your physical therapy programs:

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The medical field has become very demanding these days especially due to increase in the number of new and more serious illnesses that are popping up everyday. These diseases require advanced methods of treatment and more qualified medical professionals who understand how to use the latest treatment technologies. Nursing is one of the areas in medicine that demand a lot of professionalism. This field serves a critical purpose in the delivery of quality healthcare services all over the world. So if you are planning to become a professional nurse, you have to undergo enough training by professionals. That is why it is of much importance for you to choose the right school for your nursing education. Here are some of the factors that you must put into consideration whenever you are looking for such facilities.

Factors to Consider When Choosing the Right Nursing Education Center

• Program: The most important question that you should always ask yourself whenever you are looking for the right nursing school is: What programs does it offer? Remember, nursing is quite demanding and if you do not get enough training, you will have a hard time delivering services to patients. Therefore, before you join any institution, ensure that you understand the various programs that it offers. You should also choose a program that will give you enough skills so that you can become an all rounded caregiver.

• Credibility: The credibility of the training center that you choose is also paramount. Lately, there have emerged a number of low class training centers that offer low quality training in medical assistance. The problem with centers is that they are run by people who are only interested in making a buck. This also means that the tutors in these centers are not well equipped in terms of knowledge and equipments. Thus, you can only expect a mediocre kind of training from such centers. It is therefore important to do a little research on the reputation of the institution that you intend to join before you make any final decision. It is also good to check the accreditation of the institution.

• Online programs: With the invention of the internet, life has become simple and interesting. It is now possible for students to complete their studies online without having to experience the inconveniences that come with the routine of attending classes daily. This has indeed helped students who are already working to continue with their studies without interrupting their tight schedules. You should therefore check whether the training center that you want to join for your nursing education has online programs.

University Is Not For Everyone

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

A man I am acquainted with and I were having a dialogue/argument about higher education's real import only a while back. We both came from conflicting standpoints. He along with a load of his dearest friends have secured positions in businesses where it is not required to possess a degree so he was reasoning that university is a waste of time. From my point of view, I am of the opinion that a degree is truly a requirement to find work in specific businesses; in my case, science. The chat kept coming back to a handful of crucial factors, and these are:

"Uni is pricey and there's no surety that you will be given a job once you accomplish your degree, while if you sign up for an apprenticeship you will be paid to train. So if the typical university degree demands 3 years full time to accomplish then a university graduate would be economically 3 years behind someone who's just completed an apprenticeship over a similar amount of time and that isn't even taking the price of tuition in to account."

Uni might be expensive, however, for the duration of my degree I participated in work experience and paid casual employment that was applicable to my eventual job which not only offered me a bit of spending money but bolstered my probability of being employed as soon as I had graduated. You also possess the opportunity to network with prospective employers at university; 'it is not what you know, it's who you know', as they say.

My significant other finished her degree without needing to acquire student loans by simply taking on seasonal work. I on the contrary did have a few debts to settle which caused a smaller salary to start with but it was under 5 years before I had my loans settled and by that stage my pay had increased over twofold since graduating so I did not think myself behind in any case.

You just need to select your degree astutely, if you wish to improve your probability of acquiring work following graduation. Obviously, not all unis are created equal, and you can say the same of degrees, too. Too often I am privy to tales of students who end up working in fields that are in no way related to their degree because their specific field offer too little job prospects. Fields which are are in strong demand ought to be your focus. I studied Information Technology and didn't feel as worried about finding a placement after university in comparison to many of my fellow graduates in arts degrees.

"For many courses the curriculum is too broad and not on par with industry requirements and by the time you have acquired your degree what you've studied is already out of date."

What was covered in the curriculum was not the only thing that I gained from university. Not only did I boost my computer expertise with the empirical learning, my communication skills were polished, too. Five years later, I may just be making use of 5% of the things I studied at university, but with the incessantly progressing benchmarks and technologies of the IT sector, that isn't at all surprising.

"University is demanding. Numerous folks disliked studying in school and aren't eager to subject themselves to much of that stress and anxiety."

Of course, hard work is demanded at university, but to be able to do well, we should put a bit of pressure on ourselves. Despite this, one my life's finest experiences is attending uni. Running around like a headless chicken on campus is among my most cherished recollections up until the present. I met so many great folks, plenty of whom I'm still friends with today.

Ultimately, the choice to attend university needs to focus on what is best for you. Make sure that you possess the right reasons for doing so. Going to uni because your parents told you to, or because all of your peers are going are not appropriate reasons. Your indecisiveness shouldn't be a huge aspect in your choice either. Not knowing what else to do is not a reason to go to university. Taking a sabbatical is a better option, if you're uncertain. Get a job and put money away, then you can enjoy yourself by taking a vacation abroad. You will actually discover what you truly want to do by taking a little time off for soul-searching. Another amazing plan is determining your likes and dislikes, as well as your weaknesses and assets with a career advisor. They can then give you many recommendations on what sort of career would be best suited for you. Maybe you could take a few short courses to determine if school is something you like, and to discover whether or not you are interested in the topic. At the end of the day, work to get on the route that takes you to the job you want.

We have all been in a rut, locked in a pattern of circumstances that we can't seem to get out of. Sometimes, those circumstances change by themselves, but more often we need to take action to ensure that we don't become stuck in a rut. We aim to help you get out of a rut knowing they can affect any facet of life.

Imagine Having No Music?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Imagine a world without music, at first you may say "yes of course I can" and then think long and hard about where you hear music. You pick it up in films, TV ads, shopping malls, at work, basically just about everywhere; I bet that you do not go a whole day without hearing music somewhere or singing a tune out loud to yourself or in your head.

Music is incredible when you think about where it has come from and what it is like today. There are millions of songs all over the world in different countries producing different backing tracks and lyrics, it is unbelievable how songs can sound so different to each other after all the years of them being produced.

The first ever signs of music were back in pre-historic days around 1500 BC and it has been developing all the time since then. The modern and contemporary style of music that we all know and love today was introduced in the 1900s but in the 100 years plus it has been around it has changed dramatically. When you first think of modern you think of the pop stars that you love today however modern back in the early 1900's was carrying out a new style of classical music. Classical music is where all music originated from and although not many people favour it today, we have a lot to thank its development for.

Music today transcends into your everyday life, when you are on a ghost train at a fairground you are bound to hear a spooky piece of music which will build up as you approach the scariest part, without the music playing on your mind as to when something is going to happen your experience would not be as scary or in a weird way enjoyable! Films always have pieces of music in the background throughout to fit what the characters are feeling at the time and there are even TV shows and films which fit into the genre of musicals. Musicals feature songs more often than regular films and also characters sing instead of speaking in parts. When you go about your day after reading this, you are bound to notice just how much you hear music than you realised.

Learning about music in school is very instrument based and of course you will already have a head start if you are learning how to play one or are able to sing. To be able to progress from key stage 3 to do GCSE music you must be at a certain level of your chosen instrument or singing otherwise you cannot progress, but of course can enjoy learning about it in key stage 3.

You will start off in Year 7 learning what the different music symbols mean such as quavers and semi quavers and will also be taught a basic tune on the keyboard to learn. You will then learn about the different eras of music and who the major composers were at the time; if you enjoy history then you will also enjoy this part of the subject. In Year 9 you can get the opportunity at creating your own tune on the computer and carry out a musical performance with a variety of instruments. Whether you can play or not you should enjoy having a break from the text book, learning in a music lesson.

There were three major political parties in the scene. The Mao Zedong's Communist Party of China (CPC), Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang (KMT), and China Democratic League (CDL) with Zhang Lan as the chairman. In order to attain peace over China, Mao visits the nationalist's government for peace talk. Behind the stage, there are number of personalities that doubted the peace talk and insist that the civil war will never stop. They know that a government with different leader will never succeed. But regardless of the doubt, the two parties still signed The Double Tenth Agreement in October 10, 1945. The first Political Consultative Assembly was held on January 1946. The meeting succeeded with 8 seats of KMT surrendered to other political parties. On February 1946, in the drill ground of Chonqing held the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) closing ceremony. The event was stopped when a group of demonstrator disturbed the occasion. The event triggered the anger of the current vice president urging him to fire a warning using a private guard's rifle.

The nationalist government was relocated to Nanjing and one month later, June 1946, Chiang Kai-shek told his wife about his plan. The coax continued since the CPC have great volume of army. KMT continued on bombing and killing CPC's army so that it won't be a threat and so the coax will be at halt and war continues. In honor of Mr. Li's assassination by KMT's secret agents, a speech was held at Kunming Yan'an on July 1946. The emcee was then assassinated at night.

Meanwhile, the vice president saw the dirty hands of the recent government and quit his position. In October 1946, the commander-in-chief of North China bet to hold the "horsewhip" of Mao. At the same time, Mao spoke in Zaoyuan, Yan'an to strengthen the spirit of his people surviving many setbacks. November of 1946, Chiang Kai-shek made a speech in National People's Congress (NPC) declared to apply force to stop the communists, so the war resumed. Air raids were implemented over Yan'an forcing the CPC to evacuate to Shanbei in March of 1947. A phrase from Mao inspired his members, "You keep the land and lose the people, you lose both. You keep the people and lose the land, you have both." He traded Yan'an for the whole of China. The CDL acted as mediator of the conflict between CPC and KMT, but with the CPC's evacuation they were left over by the recent government. Since only coalition government is legal, Zhang Lan and his comrades chose CPC's side.

On the other hand, Mao insists that CPC must divide into two so that if one is being crushed, there are those who remains and will continue the mission. The meeting in Zaolingou, Qingjian, Shanbei concluded that Mao, Enlai, and Bishi forming a front committee and stay in Shanbei while Shaoqi, Zhu De, and another member forming central working committee and cross the yeloow river into North China. The KMT then seized CDL headquarters. In Hongkong, Li Jishen and He Xiangning set up revolutionary committee of KMT founding members such as Feng Yuxiang and Cai Tingkai, all are pure KMT. The master Zhang Lan took the opportunity of splitting KMT by reopening the CDL there.

By July 1947, People's Liberation Army (PLA) changed its tactics from strategic defense to offense into regions under the KMT rule, setting the stage to liberate all of China. The CPC then moved to Chengnanzhuang, Baoding, Hebei in May of 1948. This month, the KMT unilaterally called for the NPC in Nanjing where Mr. Chang Kai-shek won the first presidency of Republic of China (ROC) versus Ju Zheng; and Li Zongren winning vice-presidency versus Sun Ke. General Feng Yuxiang then visits Beipeng (Beijing nowadays). With the purpose of gathering support on making a quorum with prestigious delegates on communists, Mao personally wrote General Feng.

An undercover agent of KMT with the code name Big Fish reported the exact and current location of Mao in Hebei, and then the KMT ordered an air strike over the location. Mao Zedong luckily survived the surprise attack and later in January of 1949 after liberation of Baoding, the spy was identified as Liu Congwen. Back to the track, the CPCs moved towards Xibaipo at May 1948.

With a number of comrades turning their back, Chiang was isolated and this was compromised by the fall of China's economy. Another problem is that the United States of America are leaving them behind. The only ace Chiang can draw is Shanghai. It was expected to earn huge profits. During maintenance and quorum, Chiang's son found the root of Shanghai's economy thorns, which unexpectedly a relative of Chiang's. The problem of the recent president is that disciplining their relative will cost his party, and doing nothing will cost the country. However, the prestigious General Feng Yuxiang was mysteriously got killed on fire in his way towards Mao's invitation.

In October 1948 came the onset of the Liaoshen Campaign Battlefront and for over a month of war, the CPCs were victorious. The vice president and his comrade then talked about the empty title Director of National Defense. Stuart dropped a hint that the United States of America will aid the China if the recent vice president will be the one to reside. The lost to CPC costs a huge amount Chiang Kai-shek's soldier. With the NPC's Northeast military force weakening, the negligence of support from USA; advice from one of KMT member, the president quit his presidency "by name". Since it is still the KMT that rules and he is the chairman of the party. He decided to move in Taiwan with his remaining military force and family.

Meanwhile, the CPC forces reached the walls of Beiping. In January 1949 came the decisive victory at the Huaihai Campaign. The Du Yuming was captured which implied end of war. The Fu Zuoyi's surrender facilitated a peaceful liberation of Beiping and convening of a new CPPCC.

The vice president, which is the acting president, searched consultation from Madam Sun and Mr. Zhang Lan which both turned him down. Chiang Kai-shek then ordered to kill Zhang Lan, the plan failed due to the aid of another influential military officer. In March 1949 at Xibaipo, Pingshan, Hebei held the commencement of the second meeting of the seventh CPC central committee. The KMT secret agents then killed 13 pro-democracy activists in Shanghai.

During an honorable parade for Mao Zedong, he reminisce all the experiences they've been through. The strength of PLA was replenished fully. The refusal of Nanjing government to sign the truce on April 20, 1949 resulted to breaking down of peace negotiation. Onset of the cross-the-Yangtze Campaign was on 21st and capturing the president's office on 23rd of the same month. The PLA also liberated the Shanghai on May 1949. One month later, US Embassy in China supporting the Chiang's administration and headed by John Leighton Stuart left China in vain.

On June 1949, China prepared for the new CPPCC at Qinzheng hall of Zhongnanhai, Beiping. Mao Zedong recommended Zhang Lan of CDL and notorious Li Jishen as vice president. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republic then declared its support into the new regime, the new government of China. Behind this good news were the KMT continuously bombing Shanghai. The CPC, through Yingchao, picked Madam Sun from Shanghai for her safety and so she can attend to the new commencement of the new CPPCC. The national anthem and the flag were discussed thoroughly. Chiang Kai-shek admitted defeat and cancelled his plan on bombing Mao's founding ceremony, 3PM at Tiananmen Square.

In October 1, 1949, People's Republic of China was established.

There are many reasons why homemade soap is better than processed soap and it is so simple to make. Making your own soap will allow you to put your own twist on it. You can avoid all the harsh chemicals that store bought soap has in it and add ingredients that are gentler to your skin. You can even make the soap in colors and scents that complement your taste.

The following recipes are very simple:

Cucumber Soap Recipe

This soap is perfect to relax in a warm tub with after a long hard day.

1 & 1/2 c. clean rendered tallow
1 c. cucumber pulp
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. cold soft water
1/4 c. lye flakes
1/2 tsp. vitamin E oil

Grate cucumber fine, peel and all. Melt tallow and add cucumber. Keep on lowest heat for half an hour. The pulp and skin will add tiny greenish-yellow specks to soap.

Add vegetable oil and set aside to cool. Stir lye flakes into cold water until dissolved and set aside to cool.

Grease soap molds thoroughly with petroleum jelly.

When fat and lye are lukewarm, add lye to fat slowly stirring constantly. Continue to stir until the mixture is thick and creamy. Add vitamin E oil, beating well to distribute evenly.

Pour into molds. Let sit over night till set up than cut into slices.

Approximate yield: 1 & 1/2 lbs. of hard bar soap

Coffee and Cream Soap

If you don't have the time to make your own soap then buying homemade soap from a reparable soap maker is a great idea. Many people make soap and it is very affordable. Search for fragrances and oils that you enjoy be careful of almond oils and other nut oils if you have nut allergies always ask if they are in the soap or if they are commonly used in other soaps that are made in the same area. Many soap makers will gladly tell you all about their soap making process and what is best for your skin type.

Apply for the Pell Grant Today

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

For every problem, there is a solution. For those who wish to pursue further studies but can't do so due to financial difficulties, the Pell Grant is the perfect answer to their dilemmas.

The Pell Grant is the most popular and the oldest form of monetary support that was created especially to assist students who need financial aid to continue their studies in college. These grants are especially created for those who have not earned their first bachelor's degree; students from some post- baccalaureate programs may also be eligible. The federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not need to be repaid.

However, your eligibility also depends largely on your family's income. The Pell Grant is awarded to families with incomes up to $60,000 but most of the time, families with incomes below 30,000 dollars will have a higher chance of receiving the grant. You also have to be a citizen of the country or a non-citizen who meets the specific requirements. A high school diploma is also required, in addition to taking tests to show whether you exhibit the ability to benefit from the program.

During the process of the application, the applicants will be required to fill out a form. This form can be obtained from your school and it can also be done online. The application is completely free of charge. Information regarding your family's income and other corresponding financial need and also your academic results are also required in the application form. If you are qualified for the grant, you will be notified via email or snail mail.

The amount that you receive from the grant will range from approximately $500 to $5,000. The amount granted is also dependent on your tuition fees, your family's financial need, the size of your family, the duration of your academic studies and also whether you are doing a part-time or a full-time course. The money from the grant will be sent directly your school's financial department to pay for your tuition fees or be paid directly to you by check, or they could also combine both of these means.

Furthermore, you cannot have a drug conviction while still receiving the federal grant as this could lead to a loss of eligibility. Failure to pay for any federal student loans or owing to other federal education grants would also lead to a cancellation of the Pell Grant. You are only allowed to use the funds for education purposes and you have to sign a statement to certify this.

Leveraging a pell grant to pay for school is a great idea in a down economy. In order to qualify, the applicant must meet pell grant eligibility requirements. Pell grant requirements have become easier to understand and achieve. To find out more information about pell grants, please visit: => http://pellgrantguide.org/

Insights Into Immersion, Indoctrination, and Intellectual Opportunity

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The future of education will be grand, but there probably won't be rows of students sitting at desks rote memorizing fact and submitting to the authority of a teacher with an apple on their desk (an organic one). It's time for the education community to grow up and get moving into the future. Indeed, it appears to me that we will have a blurred reality scenario of teaching in the future, an electronic immersion of sorts. Okay so, let's talk, because that future of education will change everything.

Okay so, one example I like to use is George Washington crossing the Delaware, with all of the walls of the classroom becoming giant screens. The kids sit in the middle of the classroom with their desks shaped like a couple of small boats, and they listen to George Washington talk to his men during the crossing. In this case they are in full immersion, and they remember those words spoken, because it will be as if they were there. In a way they are, in augmented reality that is, as they are completely immersed in the activity.

Now then, this has incredible benefits for human memory, because when reading it's hard to retain all the information, when learning things visually it's a lot easier, and when you are immersed, not only do you learn faster, you remember better, much better than any other way of informational input.

Perhaps there's only one problem with this. It's that we keep teaching a false history, and we are continually indoctrinating our next generation. We aren't teaching them to think. That's not to say the teacher in the classroom couldn't after engaging in this scene which I described above have a discussion with the students about where they were going, and what they were about to do, and how they would become a part of history.

However, the ability to indoctrinate our children better, is not necessarily the best for our future. They say that those who don't learn their history are doomed to repeat, but I would submit to you that those who learn their history incorrectly are guaranteed to repeat it or make worse mistakes with the future of humanity. The future of education will have incredible intellectual opportunities, and immersion is obviously the fastest way to learn, but until we get over this challenge of ours of continual indoctrination, maybe we shouldn't bring about this new technology, or do it very wisely so it isn't misused.

You see, many of us who are intellectual thinkers have to relearn, and un-indoctrinate ourselves after our schooling. That can take years. Indeed, rather than calling this criticism of our past periods' education, let me call it a warning as we march into the future. It's not that I am against these new technologies, actually I love them in fact - it's just that I want them to be used properly, and for the right reasons. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

My Greatest Productivity Breakthrough in Years!

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

I imagine your life is a lot like mine...too many things to do and not enough time to do them! This seems to be the curse of our technological age. We have great tools for improving efficiency, but we are also expected to be infinitely more productive.

As you know, most of the time, I write about improving education for our students. But today, I want to share something specifically for you as a parent and/or educator. Like me, I'm sure you are under a lot of pressure to get things done. Recently, however, I stumbled across my greatest productivity breakthrough in ages! It is a practice that is so flexible it will work for anyone: working parents, stay-at-home parents, teachers, administrators, and any other type of job.

THE LAST TWO MONTHS HAVE BEEN MY MOST PRODUCTIVE EVER!

I've never had a time in my life when I have felt less overwhelmed or gotten more done. Not only is this a major accomplishment, I had some specific constraints:

1. I was out of the office for six of the first nine weeks of the year. Most of this travel was for business, which is exceptionally exhausting and frenzied.

2. SOAR® is growing rapidly. This is a good "problem" to have, but there are more demands on my time than ever before!

3. I have two lively and lovely (yet VERY high-maintenance) children with ADHD.

WHAT MADE THE DIFFERENCE?

Perhaps you've already heard of the block-buster system, Getting Things Done (GTD). I heard about it for years. A good friend of mine even owns a large firm in the Netherlands, teaching people how to be more productive with GTD principles. (He's the Dutch "GTD King!")

However, I never paid much attention. I've always been a very organized person. I've read hundreds of books and articles on the topic of organization.

They all say the same thing.

I had even attempted a few elements of GTD before, but I didn't take to them very well. I now realize that I was missing the most important element of the whole process...

I was not keeping an appropriate written record of *all* of my commitments (a.k.a. "to-do" items).

How is this possible?

I AM THE MASTER "TO-DO LIST" MAKER!

Or, so I thought.

David Allen, author of GTD, describes *anything* we have to do as an "open loop," no matter how big or small. His description made me think of a fish hook; a type of loop that would cause a serious snag. In this case, Allen explains that open loops cause serious snags in our attention. These attention snags build and eventually, cause a feeling of overwhelm and dread. They are a constant strain on our mental bandwidth.

The brain cannot categorize these loops. It does not distinguish between a "big" loop or a "small" loop. To our brain, every open loop feels like a large, looming task. Something as simple as "stop by the dry-cleaners" has the same impact on our mental bandwidth as "clean out the entire house."

COLLECTING ALL OF THE OPEN LOOPS

Allen suggests that we capture *all* of our open loops in writing. I was used to having a weekly to-do list of 10-15 items. When done correctly, however, Allen says that most people will have over 150 open loops on their list.

Egads!

I always avoided writing down little, mundane tasks. They seemed too insignificant to put in writing. Perhaps I was afraid of becoming more overwhelmed with a bigger list. It turns out, the opposite is true. Without a system to capture those tasks, they would swirl around in my head. They would pop into my attention at the most inconvenient times. I never realized what a drain they were on my consciousness, my energy, or my productivity.

FOR EXAMPLE...

I have a drawer in my bedroom filled with VHS tapes I will never use again. Every time I walked past that dresser, I would think "I should really clean that out," and my stomach would sink ever-so-slightly. It bothered me, but I was never conscious of it. I certainly never thought to write it down. Just as soon as I thought about it, I thought I was forgetting it. I now realize that it was compounding with all of the other "I shoulds..." I would think of throughout the day. B-I-G M-E-N-T-A-L D-R-A-I-N!

As soon as I added this task to my list, I have *not once* thought about those tapes when passing that dresser. I still haven't cleaned them out, but I enjoy the fact that they are NOT bothering me anymore. I must have been waiting to write this article, just to maintain a specific example of the power that writing everything down can have!

Allen recommends investing a few hours in creating this list. I followed his recommendation and walked all around my house, recording every open loop I noticed. Then, I went through my office and my email to capture everything possible.

By the time I was done, I filled three pages! My new Action List includes *everything,* from the prescriptions I have to pick up tomorrow to ideas I might not address for another three years. In other words, everything my brain dreams up or for which it feels responsible. Since I only have one brain, I keep personal and professional commitments on ONE list.

THE RESULT?

I have been completely and utterly AMAZED to experience the transformation of creating this master list! I review it every week and make decisions about what I will cover the following week. (This weekly review is another, completely essential step in making GTD work.)

I don't have words to describe how mentally freeing it is to get everything out of my head. My brain takes much comfort in knowing that it no longer has to track every open loop. As a result, I am sleeping better. I am working faster. I am...

Getting Things Done!

Susan Kruger, M.Ed. is a certified teacher and learning specialist and is the author of " SOAR Study Skills; A simple and efficient system for earning better grades in less time."

There are many resources available about GTD: the original book, audio CDs, videos, etc. I carefully read Amazon reviews and learned that the book can be a slog to read. (I have attempted to read the book. I totally agree!) However, the abridged CD is perfect and is available here.

6 Steps to a Better Research Paper

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Step 1. The first step in any research project is deciding what you want to research. For example, you may want to research China. Whoa, that's a big topic. You'll need to narrow it down a bit.

What exactly interests you about China? Let's say you're interested in the History of China. That topic is as enormous as the Great Wall, so let's narrow it down to something more manageable:

History of China-->Women's roles -->Tang Dynasty (June 18, 618 - June 1, 90)

Step 2. What you need to do now is consider the purpose of your research:

Will you compare and contrast the roles of women during the Tang dynasty with some other country? Will you make an argument for or against the treatment of women during the Tang Dynasty?Do you have an original theory you would like to propose about women's status during the Tang Dynasty?

Let's pick option 3: An original theory regarding women's roles during the Tang Dynasty.

Step 3: Now you must formulate a thesis. A thesis is typically a one -sentence summary of your topic. For our topic, the thesis may be:

Thesis: Women's status in the Tang Dynasty was relatively liberal.

Great! We've got our thesis statement.

Step 4. Now, the fun stuff: let's come up with a hypothesis. Admittedly to do this, you must already know something about your topic. But, essentially a hypothesis is an attempt to explain the state of something-it is to answer the question of why.

Women's liberal status during the Tang Dynasty was a result of relative stability and prosperity of the time.

Step 5. Our next step is the literature review, which will help us back-up our hypothesis. A literature review is a survey of the research that already exists on your chosen topic. You will incorporate this into your results, most likely a research paper. There are several different ways to incorporate the literature review.

Below are two commonly used methods of incorporating a lit review:

Compare and contrast the existing researchPresent the existing research in chronological order

In our case, we'll compare and contrast the existing research, to figure out where our thesis fits in. For example, we'll look at the roles of women in China and compare times of peace with times of war, times of prosperity with times of leanness.

Step 6. After our lit review, we should have a broad understanding of our topic. At this point, we must begin the writing phase of our research project.

Before you begin, here are a few tips:

Your research paper should consist of:

An introduction

Clearly states thesis and hypothesisGives some indication of the topics to be covered (i.e. war, peace, prosperity, poverty)

Paragraphs

Each paragraph should have a topic sentence-something that tells the reader what is to come. And, each paragraph should transition smoothly into the next. How many paragraphs will depend entirely on the required length of the paper, but as a general guide:One or more paragraphs for lit reviewOne or more paragraphs for each issue addressed in hypothesisOne or more paragraphs synthesizing the work with previous research-both the areas where it coincided and where it contradicted

Conclusion

A conclusion should make mention of your thesis/hypothesis, results, and conclusions.

Bibliography/Works Cited

Here is where all your sources used in the research should be listed. The format will depend entirely on the requirements set forth.

Good Luck and Happy Writing!

CEO who attended college

When it comes to College, many students have different views. Some may be expected attend one of the best colleges in the country, others could go to a school in a particular field of study, and unfortunately, some believe same college is an option. If you think not college is an option, look at why you think it is to you, and then look at one of the best CEOs in America who has graduated.

The highest paid CEO is John Hammergren. Hammergren is the Chairman, President and CEO of McKesson Corporation. McKesson Corporation is a medical and Scientific American supplier who is also one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Hammergren has not only obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in the business in 1981, but he also received his MBA from Xavier University in 1987. The average salary in 2010 was approximately $ 145 million.

President and CEO of Wal - Mart, Harold Lee Scott has helped develop the store what it is today when he joined in the Walmart team in 1979. Scott has made the measure, he has received from Pittsburg State University in 1971. His Bachelor of science in business helped him to become one of the members of the Board of Walmart in 1999 and helping it grow to what it is now. Scott average pay is about $ 10.5 million.

This list also has a slot for one of the women top leader of the American Margaret Cushing Whitman, aka Meg Whitman. She is a graduate of the Harvard Business School with a degree in economics in 1977 and then obtained his MBA at Harvard in 1979. Whitman joined eBay in 1998, it was still a very small company. In his time as CEO of eBay, the company not just has grow in size but also $ 8 billion of revenue. She resigned ultimately put John Donahoe as new Director General of the eBay. Whitman is the current CEO of Hewlett Packard. It is about $ 1.3 billion.

Donald Trump is obviously to appear on our list. Not only is Trump a celebrity with a show on NBC, "The Apprentice", but he is also the Chairman and President of the Trump Organization. He is also a founding member of Trump Entertainment Resorts. In 1968, he graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a holder of a Bachelor of science in economics. Trump is owner of several hotels, golf courses and several businesses and properties. The average salary is about $ 60 million.

Education is the first departure. There are so many different colleges and programs that are out there that can help you become a success. Also, with the development of the internet and different technologies, most colleges offer students of degrees online. If you feel as if you have no time for the College, the College Online are an excellent solution. There is also many different options when it comes to financing your degree. Many students receive scholarships or grants to pay for their studies. Some students who have a full-time job and decide to return to school; the employer may reimburse if the subject is relevant to their current position.

Student Management Systems Help Improve School Standards

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Improving any educational system in order to improve its standards as well as raising the bar for academic excellence means that its staff should also possess the appropriate skills and abilities needed to cope with the academic centers. During the good old days, complicated tasks involving the monitoring of an individual student's records involving their learning processes and grades required constant monitoring. These were done manually and often caused frustration among educators and students alike due to delays and flaws associated with the administration's system. More established academic institutions managed to cope with these issues by creating advanced methods of accessing as well as modifying the student's data. This is called the Student Management Systems.

Yes, the universities who created these systems were able to reap the fruits of their success. These developments were limited to their administration and nobody could use these systems without consulting the respective creators and staffers first. This scenario proved to be advantageous to academic institutions with vast resources. But upstart and less influential schools have a more difficult time devising Student Management Systems that would make their work less troublesome and a lot intuitive, overall. Then again, recent developments regarding technology have affected, and in the process provided solutions, to just about every issue or career that man involves themselves in. Needless to say, programmers and developers alike have started to produce remarkable programs and software which encourage productivity for its users as well as boosting any system's efficiency in the long run. Content management systems, while first developed to benefit businesses that were in dire need of its features, has started to widen its applications to other fields. Academic institutions are just one of the associations which have come to understand its full potential in terms of how it enhances their system's competency. These programs are readily available for purchase to any person or concern who is interested in it.

The common features of a custom Student Management System include tailor-made database where you can easily access and modify with the appropriate security clearance. Then programmers involved with the project always keep the clients in mind and make sure that they're developing the resource with them in mind, resulting in simple and easy-to-use interfaces which don't take technical proficiency to understand. Next is the organisation of the data can be customised to hierarchical levels to let users have different degrees of accessibility regarding the data being shown. And any other specific task or preference that you would like to integrate can be requested to the prospective programmers and they'll start to plan appropriate steps to integrate these into the software that the academic institution plans to make use of. Custom-made student management systems have time and again proved to be invaluable to any academic institution which intends to use it. In addition, most of the problems associated with the admission and enrollment of the students are made a lot easier to handle. Also, you can learn more about Training Management Systems to further increase the productivity of the faculty and staff.

Consciously Unconscious: Exploring The Quantum Reality

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

How does this illusion we call "reality" work? In other words, if quantum physics is telling me this computer screen is nothing but a vibration, why is it that I see this supposed solidity of the material?

It is in fact an illusion that our five senses experience, which is then processed through the material reality filter know as the brain. Now, as we look at an object, which we now know is only a vibration, what actually happens is the translation of light.

Light is merely particles, known as photons, which as we know are broken down to a universal filament that is the source of vibrations for all matter. Everything has their own unique vibration, or signature if you will, that allows our brain to distinguish and interpret what we are sensing.

So as we look at, say this computer, which is only light/vibration (synonyms), it emits a certain light cluster. This light cluster goes into our eyes and is transmuted from there into electricity. This electricity then travels along our nerves to the back of the brain where it gets downloaded. In essence everything we "see" is a projection coming from the back of the brain known as the occipital lobes. This area of the brain is coincidentally where our dreams originate from.

Lets simplify a little bit here. When we "see" something it is what our brain TELLS us we see, when we smell something it is only what our brain TELLS us we smell. The same can be said for all the five senses. When we sense something it is a matter of electrical signals going to the brain, which we then discern as "real".

To take this one step further, our ENTIRE perceived reality is but a dream world in which our brain's interpretation of light/vibrations dictates the illusion. Vibrations are filtered through our brain which portrays to us the dense world we are privy to.

What we our conditioned to think "reality" is from the time of our birth is based on a limited perspective. It is based on the limited perspective our rational, material based brain gives us. We are but a unique vibration derived from one higher consciousness experiencing a "type" of reality. I say type because, as physics can tangibly show us, there are sub-atomic vibrations creating everything that we sense around us, a "type" of reality we cannot yet relate to.

There are, however, those who have the ability to identify with this reality. For example, this is exactly what the 8th limb of yoga, estimated to be written over 2000 years ago, describes as samadhi. It is in essence the ability to merge one's consciousness/unique vibration (synonyms) with the source of all vibrations, the "unconscious". The unconscious is a reality beyond our five senses. From this level of awareness, matter is no longer recognized as solid or dense, but only as the fluid vibration it truly is.

Thanks to physics and our understanding of how the brain works, we can now actually rationalize how this takes place. As we explored a little earlier, we are told what we perceive as "real" is merely the electrical signals our five senses portray on the movie screen that is our brain. Accessing the unconscious, such as when we sleep, happens when one transcends the five senses and detaches from the conscious brain.

When we sleep we unconsciously access the unconscious. In other words we seemingly have no conscious control of our dreams that take place in an unconscious state. There are however individuals that have learned the ability to consciously access the unconscious. By perfecting techniques such as samadhi, they could access higher levels of perception that allowed them to see through our material reality. They were, in fact, able to connect to the QUANTUM REALITY. It is from this state our ancestors created the science of Nadi.

Quantum physics can also reassure us that time as we know it is actually part of this illusion of material reality. Time in fact is just another perception of the brain. I posted a video HERE that explains this concept. Ever had deja vu? The past present and future all exist at once! In fact, there really is no such thing as the past or future, there is only the present.

When one accesses the unconscious, they are no longer bound by time. This phenomenon can be experienced in the dream state when you have a dream that seemingly lasts for hours, but will only register as a few minutes in "real" time.

The masters of consciousness that created the science of Nadi were privy to this timelessness and were able to consciously perceive "time" all at once. From this level, these masters were able to view different points in "time", and record what they saw. This is how they were able to know what a particular consciousness/vibration/soul has done in the "past", is doing in the "present", and will do in the "future".

The Nadi is then not based on superstition, religion, or fallacy, but is rather a highly sophisticated science that comes from an awareness above what our rational brain can interpret. It is nonetheless in complete harmony with the quantum reality that physicists commonly accept as truth, and deserves a more credulous recognition.
